New Approach For The Implementation Of Airport Collaborative Decision Making Process

This paper aims to analyse the dependency of Airport Collaborative Decision Making (A-CDM) implementation phases, and to prove the applicability of implementing Turn around Process as a standalone element. The implementation sequence of A-CDM phases can be flexible regardless of EUROCONTROL’s implementation sequence. The objective of this paper is to propose how to shorten the aircraft turnaround duration without affecting the safe operations. It has been proven based on the conclusion of published questionnaire that some of A-CDM phases could be implemented by using the existing systems and/or adapting the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). This paper also proposed new values for the duration of aircraft turnaround activities. The proposed values has been identified based on accurate on-site survey to update the aircraft manufacturers' recommended duration.
