Engineering Technology Fish Farming Of Tilapia Larasati (oreochromos Niloticus) Using Aetificial Feed Enriched Silage Of Meal Feather Chicken Based Biofilter System In Efforts To Accelerate Growth And Survival
|
The main problem in the cultivation of tilapia larasati (O.niloticus) among others, is a high mortality (80-90%), due not found suitable feed and the use of feed enriched with chicken feather meal silage based biofilter system in order to control the growth and survival on the tilapia Larasati and water quality would be good used biofilter system. The purpose of this research to assess the effect of substitution of fish meal with a chicken feather meal silage on artificial feed to the relative growth and survival of fish tilapia Larasati and determine the best composition substitution of fish meal with a chicken feather meal silage on artificial feed and biofilter system that provides relative growth and survival rate of tilapia Larasati in the best. This research method using fish fry nila larasati with an average weight of 2.52 ± 0,25g / fish with a stocking 25 animals / m3.placed in net cage (hapa) size of 1x1x0.6 m in pairs at the inlet with using a biofilter system in the recirculation system. This study uses Completly Randomized design (CRD 5 treatment and 3 replication as follows treatment A (0% meal of chicken feathers), B (25% meal of chicken feathers ), C (50% meal of chicken feathers ) and D (75% meal of chicken feathers), and treatment E (100% meal of chicken feathers). The data collection As follow as the absolute weight, relative growth rate (RGR) and feed efficiency utilization (EPP). The results showed that chicken feather meal silage in artificial diet provides highly significant effect (P <0,01) to the absolute weight, RGR, EPP. Treatment T3 is the best dose and 25% silage chicken feather meal are capable of producing absolute weight, RGR and EPP respectively by 170.01 g, 6.51% / day and 58.72% .Using biofilter system is able to maintain the water quality remains eligible to tilapia larasati fish farming.
