Creating Simple Event Log for Process Mining
In the domain of enterprise information systems, process mining is introduced as a new paradigm focusing on the extraction of knowledge about business processes to build event logs from data which are recorded in information system. Due to the complexity of today’s information system which leads to generate complex event logs, process mining techniques are time consuming. Therefore, creating simple event logs is very useful for applying process mining techniques. The purpose of this paper is propose an approach to create simple event log. A scenario example is used to show the applicability of the approach. The result show that the simple event log in CSV format is too easy to understand the concept of event data
