Design of Graphical User Interface (GUI) at the Remote Laboratory for Industrial Automation Practice

Remote Laboratory is the use of telecommunications technology to facilitate users, especially students, in practicing online wherever they are, through graphical user interfaces (GUI). Students can interact with computers responsively. In its design, the GUI design must be attractive and effective, facilitate the user and provide feedback directly to the user to confirm that an action has been taken. An effective GUI includes design, color, image, icon, label, or text navigation to be able to present information to users. Actions are usually carried out through direct communication from the graphics component. The software used to create a GUI design is Microsoft Visual Studio, maintaining quality with a clear and concise display will increase user satisfaction. Finally, testing or feedback from users on the display design and GUI feature functionality. The results of this study have successfully designed a responsive and easy GUI for users.
