Identification Of Challenges Faced During Requirement Change Management In Global Software Development: Multiple Case Studies

Requirements engineering is initial phase of every software development life cycle, which plays a vital role for the success of software system. The global software development (GSD) becomes problematic due to coordination issues with geographically distributed stakeholders. Therefore, Requirements Change Management (RCM) is considered to be a big challenge in the domain of GSD. This study examined the commonly faced risks and their solutions coated by the researchers and learned from the field work as well as hindering part of collaborative technologies (CTs) to carry out the RCM. Keywords— Collaboration technologies (CTs), Requirement change management (RCM), Requirement engineering (RE), Global software development (GSD).
