Effect Of Graphene Oxide On Pull Out Strength Of Hardened Concrete

Abstract—Concrete is the most widely used construction material throughout the world. Over the years, many techniques have been developed to enhance the properties of concrete but addition of chemicals is by far the most preferred method. In this research, Graphene Oxide (GO) has been used to enhance the compressive and pull out strength of concrete. Several batches of concrete with varying percentages of Graphene Oxide were prepared for finding out the concrete strength in compression. For the pull out tests, two different bar diameters were used. The experimental test results indicate that both compressive and pull out strength of concrete increase with the addition of Graphene Oxide.
