Automatic Testing Method Of Mobile Applications For E-commerce

Mobile technology opens up the space limit and time in our life. One of the most influenced thing by the presence of mobile technology is e-commerce. Most e-commerce companies innovate through mobile applications that is considered as the easiest way to reach their customers. The development of mobile applications should be done fastly with a good quality by the company. The high demand of a mobile app perfection has made quality assurance being one of the most important parameters for evaluating mobile applications. In this article, the objective of the research is to build automatic applications, and in order to do that, such scenarios are created to build mobile application testing. Mobile automatic testing scenarios are applied using appium and Java, and are tested on one of the existing e-commerce applications in Indonesia. The creation of test scenarios uses the concept of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD). The trial scenario results are 100% running according to the target scenario
