Bayesian Planning Of Progressive Simple Step-stress Accelerated Life Test For Birnbaum-saunders Lifetime Distribution Under Type I Right Censoring

In this paper, a Progressive simple step-stress accelerated life Test for Birnbaum-Saunders lifetime distribution under Type I Right Censoring and power law acceleration model was designed using Bayesian method. The Bayesian estimates for the model parameters were obtained utilizing Gibbs sampling procedure. The results showed that there is no significant difference between the progressive simple step-stress accelerated life test and the simple step-stress accelerated life test when high stress level value is used in the first step. Furthermore, the analysis showed that the relationship between the regressors, i.e., stress changing time and the first step stress value, and the dependent variable, i.e., the expected failure time at the p^thpercentile, can be significantly modeled by linear regression model. Moreover, the results showed that a failing part under lower stress level provides more accurate information about the normal failure time of the part than a failing part under higher stress.
