An Analysis On The Performance Of The Ejector Vapor Compression Cycle Using Low-gwp Refrigerants

This paper presents the results simulated on the performance of the ejector vapor compression cycle using low-GWP refrigerants. The vapor compression cycle systems equipped with an ejector as an expansion device are considered to improve the COP by reducing the expansion loss and compressor work. The ejector vapor compression cycle simulation was carried out using the model based on the conservation of mass, energy and momentum in the ejector. Based on the results of this simulation, the COP improvements of the ejector vapor compression cycle system were analyzed with the variation of the operation conditions compared with the vapor compression cycle. The ejector vapor compression cycle system represented the more improved effects with the increase of the temperature difference between condenser and evaporator for all refrigerants.
