Interchangeable Spin Conductance In A Graphene Spin-valve

The spin polarization and spin conductance in a single barrier monolayer graphene with two ferromagnetic electrodes is proposed. The parallel and anti-parallel conductances are intensively dependent on the effective exchange splitting field of ferromagnetic material varying with incident energy. With relationship between exchange splitting and incident energy, spin conductances present regularly alternate oscillations with parallel and anti-parallel configuration. Therefore, the excellent spin polarization shows significant switch near 100% for varying incident energy in a little interval. The results provide a new technology for spintronics devices using graphene potential gates.
