Preparing And Stabilizing V9-hbt1200-spa176k Electro-dynamic Vibration Test System For Testing Satellite Modules And Assemblies

V9-HBT1200-SPA176K electro-dynamic (ED) vibration test system (VTS) manufactured in 2007 was not installed timely owing to the delay in the construction of the ANGKASA AITC (Assembly and Test Integration Centre). This VTS was finally installed in 2013 after a major repair. This article compares the test and commissioning results at AITC as compiled in the Acceptance Test Plan (ATP) against the original Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) report to assess the system performance integrity. It also summarizes the subsequent troubleshooting efforts after the test and commissioning to resolve problems encountered. This VTS is the earth vibration reference equipment for vibration testing of satellite modules and assemblies to ensure performance integrity and system reliability before the satellite assembly shipment is transferred from AITC to the launch site.
