Accuracy Improvement Of Automatic Security Perimeter Fence To Detect Personal Intrusion By Reducing Wind Effect Error Signal

The wind effect on the perimeter security system need to be reduced to ensure stable security. Sensor cables are fastened to existing security fences. False alarms generated by the strong wind were dominet problems. Input signals receiving from sensor cables are processed and analysed by using the DSP (TMS320F2812) microcontroller. The system collects signal amplitude, duration time and frequency spectrum to distinguish the wind effect from intrusion signal. The result give the real or false alarm. Frequency analysis was done for each duration of N=128 samples of input signal was using special algorithm of the fast Fourier transform through DSP microcontroller. The security system has been tested at border lines of Mongolia. After applying the developed algorithm for reducing false alarms, intrusion detection accuracy for real field application was upgraded to 94%~95% to ensure enough field application.
