Yield Performance And Nutritive Value Of Sweet Corn Using Manure Enriched With Agromineral And Nitrogen Organic

The peoples increasing consciousness to healthy foods like sweet corn cause demand for this food to increase. There is then a need to explore alternative organic fertilizers that could be effectively to replace inorganic fertilizer. The objective of the research was to investigate the influence of some kind of manure enriched with agromineral and nitrogen organic compared to inorganic fertilizer on sweet corn (Zea mays saccharata) yield as food and nutritive value of stover as livestock feed. A field experiment of randomized block design with 9 treatments and four replicates was conducted in vertisol soil. All of manure application at 20 t/ha, and enriched with P-natural and N-organic (N-legume) at the same dosage compared to inorganic fertilizer, according to the treatment. Dosage of inorganic fertilizer was 66 kg P/ha (TSP), 200 kg N/ha (ammonium sulphate), and 125 kg K/ha (KCl). The treatments were T1 (TSP), T2 (ammonium sulphate), T3 (TSP+ammonium sulphate), T4 (manure), T5 (manure+P-phosphate rock), T6 (manure+P-guano), T7 (manure+N-legume), T8 (manure+P-phosphate rock + N-legume), and T9 (manure+P-guano+N-legume). All plots of experiment were receive KCl fertilizer. Sweet corn was harvested at 70 days after planting, the stover was cut and measured for fresh production of sweet corn, stover and musk. Chemical analysis was done for nutritive value of stover and musk. The result showed that the treatmen significantly affected to the sweet corn production, nutritive value of stover and musk. The result of DMRT showed that the effect of manure enriched with agromineral (P-phosphate rock, P-guano) and N-legume was not significantly different on sweet corn production and nutritive value of stover compared to TSP, ammonium sulphate and TSP+ammonium sulphate. Conclusion, manure enriched with P-natural and N-legume, resulted in similar on sweet corn production and nutritive value of stover compared to inorganic fertilizer. Manure enriched with P-natural and N-legume could be effectively to replace inorganic fertilizer to produce sweet corn and reduce production cost.
