A New Class Of Polymer Semiconductors For Solution Processible Organic Field-effect Transistors

Today, Polymer based organic field-effect transistors is being actively studied because of their own merits, such as mechanical strength, flexibility, lightweight and large-area electronic applications through printing techniques. Recently, donor-acceptor (D-A) type conjugated copolymers have been widely synthesized because their coplanar chain conformations enhance Charge carrier transport compared to single systems. In this study, we designed and synthesized novel D-A copolymer by Stille-coupling polymerization. This polymer showed good solubility in common organic solvents and high thermal stability.
