A New Dithienopyridine-based Polymer For Organic Phothovoltaics
|
In this study, a new copolymer for organic phothovoltaics was synthesized through Stille-coupling method. The new copolymer showed a good solubility in commom organic solvent such as THF, Chloroform and Chlorobenzene, and both the differential scanning calorimetry and thermogravimetric analysis showed the copolymer has a high thermal stability. The thin film transistor with this copolymer as an active layer showed a good mobility, a suitable on/off ratio and threshold voltage for organic photovoltaic cells because of their strong intermolecular interaction between donor-acceptor units and their backbone planarity.
