Sustainable architecture stems from the need of today’s man against the inappropriate outcomes of the industrial and consumer world of the present age. Protecting the world’s natural resources, Reduction of air pollution and other environmental pollution, Ozone layer protection ، Physical and mental health, The future of humanity and … Is one of the issues that has been raised and the necessity of that day becomes more apparent. Sustainable buildings can be used to control energy consumption and preserve natural resources. Today, given that the non-renewable energy sources are coming to an end and the destruction caused by the use of these resources to the environment, The country’s attention to the use of renewable resources and sustainable development Has been attracted more than ever So there is no doubt that optimizing energy consumption can be a great help in the growth and development of clean environments. Meanwhile, the attitude towards green architectural approaches in educational spaces, including the school, has a particular place because in addition to observing the basic principles of green buildings and saving energy, the existence of such schools is an educational tool to teach sustainable methods to the students. This article first examines the dimensions of green architecture and its fundamental principles and then addresses the causes of the emergence of a new and sustainable approach called the Green School. The main purpose of these article, while introducing this new approach to the design of educational spaces, An attempt to provide a way to implement sustainable development goals and sustainability concepts in architecture to reduce energy dissipation and using Possibilities of natural environment and the best use of contemporary technology to control environmental pollution and eliminating environmental wastes.
