Investigation Titanium-graphene Nanocomposite Fabrication By Powder Metallurgy

With the Increasing in use of titanium and its alloys in the aerospace, marine, oil and gas industries, implants and etc ; different engineers have been forced to improve the various properties of titanium. Graphene is a great way to improve its performance. Therefore, in this research, the fabrication of titanium-graphene composite by powder metallurgy method has been investigated. But most important challenge in the use of graphene is uniform distribution, maintaining structural powder and Transition of proper stress in the titanium graphene interface. Here, we are trying to overcome these challenges with three techniques press, SPS, and hot rolling Which ultimately leads to an increase in mechanical properties. After the fabrication of graphene-titanium composite, the mechanical properties of the composite were investigated by analyzes XRD, SEM, TEM and it was observed significantly increased in mechanical properties
