Industry 4.0 Education Out Of A Suitcase
This paper deals with developing a production line in the size of a suitcase; this shall be a fully functional mini factory, which enables to test and implement Industry 4.0 and Digitalization, under the aspect of Lean Production. The mini factory can be used as a demonstration tool in workshops and teaching units in order to try out theoretical test results in practice. The suitcase factory is portable and thus can be used in different environment, such as for in house trainings. Only a 220 V power supply is needed. All over the world Industry 4.0 is a term used to define the communication between cyber-physical systems and humans in real time, often called smart factories. This is exactly what we try to show in our mini factory, we could also name it "approachable Industry 4.0"
