Effect Of Irrigation Terminating Times On Gene Expressions Oedgat1 , Oefad2.1 And Oefad6 And Oil Quality And Quantity In Some Olive Cultivars.

This study carried out on olive trees were developing in Orchard- Najaf, Iraqi for four cultivars((Khastawi, Nabali, Dikal and Souri.) under condition of irrigation terminators and diffrent water levels,to experience gene expression for OeDGAT1 gene Diacylglycerolacyltransferases (DGATs) , OeFAD2.1 and OeFAD6 and to test unsaturated fatty acid (FADs) by using Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) .DNA extracted then assayed with Real time PCR method and using Actine gene as Housekeeping gene. On the other hand chemical analysis were done to the fruite , (%), D.W oil % , F.W oil saturated oil unsaturated fatty acid as (Oleic, Linoleic and Linolenic) by using ( Gas – chromatography)in addition to the moisture (%) tested .The results showed that high OeDGAT1 gene expression was present in Souri cultivar for all treatment , While the OeDGAT1 gene expression in Khastawi cultivar was more influenced by water terminator , Nabali and Dikal cultivars were less gene expression and were less influence by water terminators. OeFAD2.1 gene expression was high leve in Souri and appear uninfluenced with different treatments for water terminators, While OeFAD2.1 gene expression for Khastawi and Dikal cultivars were high influenced with water terminators and irrigation levels. The OeFAD6 gene expression for olive cultivars under study Showed that the high in level gene expression in Khastawi fruit. The moisture in cultivar fruits were high signification in Dikal cultivar, the less moisture was in Souri fruit cultivar. Oil percentages in dry and fresh weight for Souri fruit were high significant and were more affected in water terminators and irrigation levels, while Dikal fruit were less affected on water terminators. The fruit oil analysis showed that unsaturated fatty acid Oleic, Lenolic and Linolenic acid were high percentage in Souri fruit for all treatments and more affected with water terminators and irrigation levels .Dikal fruit was less content with unsaturated fatty acid and was less affected with water terminators and irrigation levels.
